Why Join the NAACP
A small investment with a Mighty big return
The National Association has for more than 100 years; the NAACP has been the leading advocate for social justices and equality for people of color. Since 1909, thousands of advocates like you have helped lead the fight for freedom, justice and equality. We cannot do the work of the local branch without your support. This support can be in the capacity of just membership, joining and working on one of the Branch’s many committees, and or supporting us on one of the branch's many events/activities.
As you can see, there are options on how you can assist the local Branch. However, you must be a member in order to do that. We are continuously building on the legacy every day of addressing issues that impact our communities and developing new leaders to come on board and take the helm, learn, and enhance the NAACP way to take on the many issues facing People of Color related to political and civic empowerment, economic empowerment, climate justice, criminal justice, education, health, women and children issues that impact our community on all levels in doing the work of the organization within our communities. It is a small investment with a “MIGHTY” big return.
